When I created my first blog, I was always curious about how many visitors are coming to my blog. My blog was on Blogger, that's why you get only some limited stats there. Later I came to know that these stats are very important for the growth of your blog and to analyze the traffic of your blog, Google has a service called Google Analytics .

Google Analytics is a free service, with the help of which you can know the complete information about the traffic coming to your blog. Not only traffic, it has many such features that you can use for the growth of your blog.

There are many tools available online to track the traffic of your blog, but Google Analytics is the best of all those tools and is also free.

- You can see the traffic on your blog in real-time (Live).
- Can know the location (Country, States, City) of visitors.
Which post are users reading on your blog?
What is the traffic source of your blog? (Social media, Organic search etc.).
Which device (Computer, Mobile, Tablet) are the visitors of the blog using.
On which browser you are accessing your blog.
On which keyword your visitors are coming.

Apart from this, there are many other features that you can see after creating an Analytics account.

How to Create Google Analytics Account?

 Create an account on Google Analytics with your Gmail ID and configure it well by entering the Analytics code in your Blogger's blog.
Step 1- First of all, you  open the website of Google Analytics . Here on the top right corner, you will get the drop down option of SIGN IN , you click there and click on Analytics .
Step 2-  Now a page like this will open in front of you as shown in the screenshot below, here you have to click on Sign up .

Step 3-  After clicking on Sign up, a new page will open in front of you where you have to create a new account. For this you have to fill up some account details.
     Account Name-  Here you can enter the name of your website / blog or your name.
     Website Name-  Here you have to enter the name of your blog (Ex- Blogging Learners).
     Website  URL- Enter the URL of your blog without http or https (Ex- https://blogginglearnersofficial.blogspot.com/ ).
If https is enabled in your block, then click on http:// and select https:// here.
Industry Category-  Here you select the niche / topic of your blog.

Reporting Time Zone-  Inside this you have to select your Country and Time Zone.

After filling all these details, you have to click on Get Tracking ID below .

Step 4-  Now a popup of Google Analytics Terms of Service Agreement will open in front of you .
Here first of all select your country.
Below you will find a checkbox by clicking on it and click on I Accept .

Step 5-  Now a new page will open in front of you which will have the Tracking ID of your blog as shown in the screenshot.

You have to copy this Tracking ID from here and paste it in your Blogger's blog.

So far you have created an account in Google Analytics and have generated Tracking ID for your blog. Now you have to add this Tracking ID to your blog in the second section.

Now login to your Blogger Dashboard.
First you go to  Settings and click on Other option below that .

Here you will find a section of Google Analytics , inside the box in front of Analytics Web Property ID, you have to paste the  Tracking ID code of Google Analytics and click on Save settings  .

Your account in Google Analytics has been completely prepared and your blog has also been configured with Analytics . Now you can fully track and analyze the traffic coming to your blog through Google Analytics.

You have to wait two-three days to see the analytics of your blog, after that you can see the traffic stats coming to your blog through Google Analytics.
