How to know if someone has copied your content

Apart from this, duplicate content is also detected in Google search by placing a line of your blog post inside double quotes ("").
Note: If a blog is copying your content, then here you have to check whether that blog is copying your content completely or partially. If copying partially, then giving you credit for it or not.
Before sending a DMCA notice to someone, I mail them that they remove my content, because once Google decides after sending the notice, it will remove your content or delete the entire blog.

How to File a DMCA Complaint
DMCA full form Digital Millennium Copyright Act, this is a copyright law of the US which was brought to protect the content on the internet from being stolen.
For some time now I have been seeing that some bloggers are copying my content and publishing it in their blog and this is also bringing traffic to their blog. This can also affect the ranking and traffic of the post, in which case you should remove those web-pages from Google by making a DMCA complaint.
Google can only delete Blogspot blog through DMCA complaint, because Blogspot is Google's product.
But self-hosted WordPress can remove blog only from Google search. To delete that blog completely, you can send a DMCA notice to the web-hosting provider of that site.
Before filing a DMCA, you need to know where the blog that has copied your content is hosted, that is, a Blogspot blog or a self-hosted WordPress blog. Most of the 90% content stealing blogs are from Blogspot.
The easiest way to know the hosting of any blog is to go to the WhoIsHostingThis.com website and by entering the domain name of that blog, you can find out who is hosting that domain.
If your content has been copied by Blogspot blog user, then you can know the copyright claim against it by following the steps given below.
1. After recognizing the copied content, click on Removing Content From Google , a page will open in front of you like the screenshot given below.
2. If your content copying is a Blogspot blog, then you click on Blogger / Blogspot or if it is on WordPress then click on the Web Search radio button.
3. What can we help you with? From here you have to select the suitable radio button.

7. Like the screenshot given below, a page will come in front of you where you have to click on this form .
8. Now a form of Report alleged copyright infringement: Blogger will open in front of you . After filling up this form correctly, you have to submit it.
* First you have to fill Contact Information as shown in the screenshot.
* Now you have to give some details about the copyright work.
Identify and describe the copyrighted work
Here you have to write a 2-3 line message that you are the original author of the content and another blog has copied your post or image.

Here you have to add a link to the copying post.
* Finally you will get the Sworn Statement, where first you have to tick all the boxes, enter your name in the date and signature below on the day you are sending the notic.
After verifying the captcha code, click on the submit button.
Now a DMCA complaint has been filed on behalf of your blog. If your complaint is completely valid then Google will take action on the copied blog. It depends on Google whether it will remove only the content or the entire blog.
If you do not fill this form correctly then Google will not take action on your complaint. And for reporting wrongly, Google may remove your own blog from the search engine as a punishment.
If a blog copies your content and Adsense is approved on that blog , then you can also report to Google Adsense . So that their Adsense account can be suspended or banned completely.
